At Shafaf Seeds ("we", "our", "us"), we respect your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how it is shared, and how you can request access, correction, or deletion of your information.
1. Information We Collect
- Order and inquiry information: products requested, quantities, order notes, and related support details.
- Crop doctor information: farmer name, address, phone number, crop name, crop area, issue details, and crop or leaf photos when you choose to send an inspection request.
- Approximate location: used with your permission to show local weather in the Android app. We do not store your weather location in Shafaf Seeds systems.
- Advertising and technical data: the Android app uses Google Mobile Ads, which may collect IP address, app interactions, diagnostics, Android advertising ID, app set ID, and other device identifiers for ads, analytics, and fraud prevention.
- Payment information: payments, where available, are handled by third-party payment providers. We do not store full payment card numbers in the Android app.
2. How We Use Information
- To process product orders, delivery requests, and customer support messages.
- To respond to crop inspection and crop doctor requests.
- To show local weather and field planning information.
- To show ads, measure app performance, and help prevent fraud or abuse.
3. Sharing and Disclosure
We may share information with service providers and tools that help us operate the app and business, including WhatsApp for messages you choose to send, weather providers for forecast requests, Google Mobile Ads for advertising and analytics, payment providers, delivery partners, hosting providers, and support tools. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights, users, and services.
4. Cookies and Tracking
The website may use cookies or similar technologies to operate and improve the service. The Android app may use Google Mobile Ads technologies for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. You can control browser cookies in your browser settings and reset or delete your Android advertising ID in your device settings where supported.
5. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect personal information. Data sent between the app and online services is protected in transit using standard encrypted connections where supported by those services. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
6. Your Choices and Rights
You can choose whether to provide crop doctor details, photos, order requests, and location permission. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information.
